The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is that country's leading astronomy organization. The RASC has been publishing the annual Observer's Handbook for over 100 years and it's a great guide for amateurs. About half of the resource covers astronomical events for the upcoming year and the other half has more general information that is updated with each publication. BSAS can offer the U.S. Edition of the handbook to our members for $27 if picked up, $32 for mailing via media mail.
